It will reflect on how your car handles, which can sometimes be difficult when you end up with only the back half of your car. The damage the cars suffer is also presented nicely, with an engine, transmission, and wheels that can potentially suffer damage. The layout of the different race arenas feature things such as pencils or other stuff made out of cardboard as well as all the cars. The visuals of the game are one of its best assets, with everything made out of cardboard. In single events, you can choose between Normal Mode, which is a single event as in the championships, Survival Mode where you have to survive for the longest time, and Tourist Mode where nobody will try to destroy you. When the race is over, you’ll be given points based on your position until the last race, when you’ll see if you are the winner. When you start the game, you can choose to play in a Championship, a single event, a multiplayer game, or go to the school to learn the basics of the game with three short tutorials.Ĭhampionships consist of 8 races where you are up against 14 other racers, and your goal is simple: destroy the other cars and survive until the end. However, using the boost too much will deplete the battery your car has. You also have access to a boost with the X button. You accelerate with the R2 button, brake with the L2 button, or use the handbrake with the Square button. Since Concept Destruction is a racing game, the controls are pretty easy to pick up.
